Land Surveying By James A. Burgess II PLS L-3960. Mr. Burgess has been a licensed professional land surveyor in the State of NC since 1998. He possesses twenty years total land surveying experience at various levels of responsibility. Some examples of his completed projects are: landfill layout, grade staking, construction surveying, boundaries, building layout, asbuilts, water and sewer lines, subdivisions, topographical surveys, and wetland mapping.

Mr. Burgess has experience in the use of conventional surveying equipment as well as robotics and GPS.
